We’re hiring a hands-on, dependable Equipment Maintenance Assistant / Yard Associate to help keep our equipment fleet in top shape and our yard running smoothly. This is a great fit for someone who likes working outdoors, enjoys fixing things, and wants to grow their mechanical skills in a fast-paced, team environment.
What You’ll Do
- Inspect, clean, and service equipment to keep it running safely and efficiently
- Assist mechanics with repairs and maintenance on our rental fleet
- Help order parts, track maintenance, and keep accurate service records
- Load and unload customer vehicles and delivery trucks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard and shop
- Move and straighten lumber stacks and inventory
- Drive local delivery routes when needed
What We’re Looking For
- Valid driver’s license
- Basic mechanical knowledge — experience in maintenance or equipment repair a plus
- Comfortable operating or learning to operate forklifts and yard equipment
- Physically able to lift and move building materials safely
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and a team player

Compensation: $15.50 - $20.00 per hour

We have a full-line hardware store and have access to over 67,000 items through our hardware co-op DoItBest. We also offer Installed Services; we provide the materials and the labor to complete a project. We partner with our contractor customers to provide this service.
