Job Summary:

We are seeking a hard-working and driven individual to assist our Lead Technician in inspecting, repairing, and maintaining our large fleet of rental equipment and vehicles. At times, this individual will also be expected to perform a variety of tasks to help our yard staff complete their duties. This is a unique opportunity to gain knowledge and experience on a variety of machines and vehicles. Our rental fleet includes excavators, dozers, manlifts, telehandlers, and more. Compensation will be commensurate with experience with an opportunity for growth given exemplary performance.

Responsibilities:

Must have knowledge of small engines and familiarity with diesel engines.
Basic computer skills to access information online.
Provide high-quality repair services on all work orders.
Assist lead technician in the repair of rental equipment and fleet vehicles.
Inspect and perform daily maintenance on rental equipment.
Ensure the safe use of equipment & tools.
Responsible for completing all paperwork in a timely manner and maintaining accurate maintenance logs.
Responsible for communicating special order parts for all work orders.
Responsible for completing service work in a timely manner.
Provide a safe environment by keeping work areas clean & organized.
Possess strong communication skills as customer interaction may be frequent.
May be required to cross-train and perform other duties including assisting yard staff with various tasks.

Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and ability to multitask
Background in automotive and/or equipment repair and maintenance
Ability to stand for an extended period of time
Able to walk, reach, climb ladders, and bend to perform job duties
Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently

Compensation: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
